The West End Hazel Park Business Coalition invites you to our NIGHTTIME FARMER’S MARKET every other Wednesday from 6-10 PM.  In collaboration with The Michigan Urban Farming Initiative (MUFI).   Pick up free seeds and seedlings for the Marigold Project, get your fruits and vegetables, commune with neighbors and hear from local civic and community groups. Listen to live music by rotating local talents each week.

We are excited to introduce our collaborator The Michigan Urban Farming Initiative, if you aren’t familiar, MUFI is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to engage members of the community in sustainable agriculture. Based in Detroit's North End community, MUFI’s mission is to use urban agriculture as a platform to promote education, sustainability, and community in an effort to empower urban communities, solve many social problems facing Detroit, and potentially develop a broader model for redevelopment for other urban communities.  We want to say a big thank you to MUFI for coming together to help us feed families in Hazel Park.  Check out other projects MUFI is up to at www.miufi.org.
