Daren Bossenberger is new in town, with Ideation Orange is an experiential graphic design and signage company. We help organizations of all shapes and sizes maximize the impact of their built environments with signs, experiential graphics, wayfinding solutions and donor recognition displays. Ideation Orange was founded in 2003.
This is Richard, owner of Richard Gage Design Studio and one of the founders of the West End Hazel Park Coalition. Richard has made a home for his business here in Hazel Park for almost 20 years now. Richard Gage Design Studio is a multifaceted studio that specializes in wood and metal work for fine and commercial arts. His community interest came about when people from the neighborhood started to come to the back door of his shop looking for a tool repair and sharpening. He then realized he could use his work to involve the community. Since coming to Hazel Park Richard has been a part of numerous community outreach projects and helped to organize the Hazel Park Art Council as well as the first art fair. One fun fact about Richard is he has two pet chickens named Miranda and Pearl.
This is Jamie Brown, although a lot of people around Hazel Park know him as Junior. Jamie's family, including his father, have worked and employed people in the Hazel Park area for more than 50 years-- the people who know him from a kid in his father's shop call him Junior! He is the owner of Source Products specializing in commercial printing and has been operating his business in Hazel Park for the past 18+ years. When Jamie is not in the shop he enjoys spending time up north in Waters Michigan.
This is Carol, owner of Hazel Park Collision. Hazel Park Collision is a family owned and run business served by 3 generations. The business was started by her father in 1944 and handed down to her and her brother. Their business has served the community for over 75 years, and they hope they will be able to serve many more. Whether its a major body job or a slight fender bender Hazel Park Collision is the essential and most trusted autobody repair in Hazel Park. One fun fact about Carol is that her favorite color is yellow-- because that was the color of the short shorts the guys used to wear back in the 70s.
This is Nemir, owner of Unique Linen. Unique Linen has had the pleasure of calling Hazel Park home for 20 years now. If you're ever walking down Powell and wondering what that fresh clean smell is chances are its Unique Linen! As well as providing jobs for his 38 employees, Nemir tries to keep things green around his business by using environmentally friendly detergents. Family is everything, and making time for you kids is essential so when Nemir isn't hard at work he enjoys spending time with his two sons. "Anyone can be a father, but not everyone can be a Dad."
